From its home in the heart of Europe, Vlerick Business School attracts students and businesses from all over the world to its Masters and MBA courses. We help the prestigious school to inspire even more interest in its ground-breaking programmes, research and networks.


We first became involved with Vlerick in 2013. The Belgian-based school had been through a visual rebrand – and wanted our help with their language.

We articulated their tone of voice principles and ran a number of presentations and talks to introduce them to the school’s faculty and teams.

Since then we’ve developed an on-going relationship with Vlerick and work closely with the marketing team on a wide variety of projects.

Wordtree creates excellent case studies and testimonials for us, interviewing programme participants and alumni and perfectly capturing their diverse backgrounds and goals. The Wordtree team delivers quickly, aligning case studies to strategic priorities and brand messaging. They’re always genuinely interested in our work and in our participants – and they help us to deliver a message that is exactly “us”.

What we do

We write regular communications – including monthly newsletters, targeted email campaigns and copy for current and new academic programmes. We often interview students, alumni and faculty to gain an inside perspective of the school and create case studies and testimonials. And we’ve worked on everything from web pages and scripts for marketing videos through to research reports and white papers. Last year, we worked closely with the team at Vlerick and one of its corporate partners to create a winning award entry.

Vlerick’s official language is English – but its audiences come from all over the world. So we always use International English in its marketing communications.

All of the communications we create consistently express the vibrant, open and international spirit of Vlerick. And we take every opportunity to reinforce the school’s ethos of live it, learn it – giving students the opportunity to get real-world business experience through projects and company placements.
