Liz is a highly experienced commercial writer and trainer, with a career spanning almost three decades. She’s also the founder of Wordtree. Liz has trained tens of thousands of people in organisations all over the world to embrace the power of language.
She started her professional career as a news reporter and feature writer, working at organisations including the BBC. She then went on to work as a copywriter and brand strategist in creative agencies, before setting up Wordtree in 2010.
Liz believes passionately in the power of language to solve complex business challenges – and has supported organisations including Coutts, Clearblue, Shelter and M&S to create strategic approaches and roll them out via wide-ranging training programmes.
Emily Lloyd Hamilton
Emily is an experienced and effective writer and trainer. For more than a decade, she has supported organisations to make the shift to customer-centric thinking – and to adopt commercial writing techniques and practices.
Emily believes in the power of language to bring whole organisations together behind a purpose – and in doing so, creating common ground to collaborate and share ideas. She has worked with organisations including ACCA, Worldpay, the WRA and InsureandGo to help their teams understand and implement new approaches to communications and culture.
